Inflatable Solar Lanterns
Chris brought these over to my house and I cannot adequately express how awesome they are and I never would have guessed until I actually held one in my hands and was amazed. Here is what is so great about them:
- These little puppies deflate and collapse down to 1" thick and blow up to about 4 inches high.
- They weigh almost nothing, so with size and weight they could go almost anywhere.
- They are solar, so you don't have to worry about buying/storing batteries or worry about the batteries getting old and exploding.
- They have three settings--low, high and flashing.
- You get 6-12 hours light from a full charge, and they charge in 8 hours.
- They will charge in BOTH direct sunlight and incandescent light.
- They are water resistant.
- The handle on top lets you hang them anywhere (and they are lightweight, so you can literally hang them from almost anything.)
- These would go great in campers, backpacks, 72 hour kits, your car or anywhere else you might need a flashlight or other lantern. (And don't forget scout camp!)
After some searching around, I found the lowest price for this exact lantern was $14.99, but Chris is getting them for a special deal for $11 including shipping and sales tax. I will have these at church for the next two weeks to pass around so you can see them for yourself, or if you'd like to come to my house to take a look at them please let me know! I will also have sign up sheets available, or if you would like to you can order from here:
All money is due by Monday, June 13 at noon
